Okay, here we go, my first ever blog post. I know, I know, it's about time, it really is...after two years of "I'm going to start blogging, I know I need to be blogging" I have finally done it!

The pressure that mounts over the span of a couple years anticipating, procrastinating and planning is rather daunting, but I am biting the bullet and attempting to post something that will keep your interest. Hopefully the 'your' I am addressing refers to more than just my immediate family and best friends, but who am I kidding, I would be lucky if even that handful of folks read this...beggars can't be chosers I am told. 

Let's start with a small recap of the past two years or so, I have decided to make photography my official 'professional career'! Yes, that basically means that I get to meet and work with amazing people in this gorgeous picturesque state, all while creating little frozen memories in time with them. It is a pretty phenominal gig. So here is to the continued adventure of photography and getting to meet all the quirky, lovely, amazing folks that are Alaskans and Alaskan transplants alike. Hey, I like them all, and I look forward to capturing some pretty fabulous memories with each and every sunny little soul that comes my way.
